When I needed ISO 100 in a slide film, I typically used Fujichrome
100 pushed one stop until I could no longer find any left and then
switched over to Provia pushed one stop. I did use K200 a few times,
but it lacked a lot of punch.

The films really are as good as ever. Ilford PanF, Delta 100, Delta
400 and Kodak Tri-X are all very very good B&W films. Fuji has
brought back Velvia 50. Kodak has a new and improved lineup of the
already outstanding Provia films... Oh, and don't forget that Fuji
Realla is still the only capture medium to handle mixed lighting
without sickening colorcasts. (if only digital was as good).
