Love the first one. It's an excellent portrait, and goes to show that
no rule, including "eyes must be open" cannot be broken under the
right circumstances.
The pole vaulters is interesting, too, and I chuckled to see you left
the white guy in color. <g> But the way the shot is composed doesn't
lend itself well to having the color that low in the photo. Just the
poles would work better, I think.
And how, exactly, did you do that?
