International shipping via UPS
What you guys say echoes my experience and that of friends. I wouldn't
touch them with a 40 foot barge pole.
USPS have been absolutely great for me from USA to NZ, with one
exception, and I think it was an inside job. I bought a small (they are always
small) memory "chip?" and somebody slit the side of the small packet and
slipped the contents into their pocket, re-sealing the packet with a USPS
AIRMAIL sticker. That's the only baddie in about 60 purchases.
Other international couriers, eg DHL, FEDEX, are more or less on a par with
UPS for excessive charging, but may be more reliable.
