All true. Fred Picker wrote a book and a number of articles applying  
it to 35mm, but only insofar as finding an exposure frame for your  
images. While it was useful for thinking about exposure and the  
dynamic range of your film as well as the value of narrow spot meter,  
it is missing the "guts" of the Zone System which is really limited  
to what you do with a single frame from exposure variation to  
development variation to printing.
