This may be timely, given that "theft" has become as popular as guns, SUVs,
and whisk[e]y on the list. I'll be in Sao Paolo for a week or two in early
April, on business. Various people at work are making ominous comments about
personal safety, and certainly there's been quite enough press about gangs
and crime in general there. Any personal experience amongst listers? Or
other informed or uninformed comment :-) ?
