Thanks, Russ. I'm not as sure of myself with B&W, especially with 
masters of B&W tonality like AG around. I'm letting another version of 
the conversion sit for a few minutes before I go back to look at it 
again. A little lighter, less dramatic, but nice smooth tones in the skin.

Fill in the dark spot? That's just clone tool work, changing the source 
location to different areas as I work along, so it doesn't just look 
like a copy of something nearby. Needs a reasonably steady hand and is 
easier working at 200%.
