I have to agree. But then I have developed a theory regarding the 
optimum age for a malt, and wouldn't spend the money they ask for 
anything over about 18 years.

Nope. I have seen one, in Arisaig, but never got that far along the

Fine example of its type. Speys aren't my favourites, though.

Now you're talking. All the Islays are magic, but this and Bunnahabhain

Never found one I liked, pretty characterless for my taste, but it's 
better than vodka... or Johnnie Walker.

Love the stuff. This is my 'ordinaire', but it has so many nuances that 
to refer to it as ordinaire is tantamount to a hanging offence.
