Ever been through Gorman bout this time of year? I have some 'snapshots' I
took 3-4 years ago, it was stunning but I stopped commuting to the Lake
Arrowhead area before the peak of the California Poppy season.

Less than that in many places. Keep an eye out for the coastal
wildflowers. Early last June, Hwy 1 from Santa Cruz to Half Moon Bay was
just astonishing!
I wanted to stop many times, but dusk was coming on, the marine layer
coming in and there is no shoulder in most places. So it was just keep
driving and enjoy the show flowing by.
