What are the "snips" used in the reply meant for? Is it just a different way
of pulling out text to respond to? This is the first time I've seen it used.
Do you just keep the sniped portion of the post you are responding to and
editing out the rest?

Thanks,
Allen

I believe windows XP updates its clock over the network without any
added software. The real estate office I do work for depends upon
having accurate time to synchronize databases between different
computers. When we moved from Windows 2000(?) to Windows XP I could
find very few time synchornizing apps. Poking around turned up
information that the newer version of windows does it automatically
over the network. None of the computers have added software but they
all have the correct time.

The email sometimes carries the timestamp of the mail server. I
believe at least one of my email accounts is labled in Universal time
since I receive it almost immediately with a time stamp that is 8
hours later.
