I forgot about the resolutions part here. Israel has ignored over 200 UN
resolutions and the US interferes with the UN enforcing them.
Your last sentence seems to be rather imperialistic, the US needing more
bases in the Middle East. It was another terrorist attack that no one tried
to stop that got US bases in Saudi Arabia in the first place, was it not?
And... the Liberal News Media? Which one is that? I haven't seen it since
about the days of JFK and I'm not so sure it was 'Liberal' then either, per
the definition in Webster's.
WE do seem to have some new outlets that just repeat what they are told to
say, would you call that liberal or conservative, or just not news reporting
at all?

The US was hit with a vengeance on 9-11. Terrorist were emboldened by
the lack of response from previous attacks during the Clinton
administration.
Something had to be done. Afghanistan was fine for starters but a bigger
message needed to be sent. Saddam had 17 UN resolutions to comply or
else. Threats of "or else" are a joke if never enforced. It was a good
time to enforce the resolutions. It was also a strategic move to gain
presence near Iran. There is a lot more to what the liberal news media
wants us to know.
