I used that one too. I know that highlights are sometimes helped, but
sometimes not. I don't shoot lots of white though. It worked better
for me if I neutralized the plus 1/3 stop exposure with a negative
setting on the camera. When I went from my D100 to the D200 I did not
bother because I like the Nikon curve more I think. It is subtle
though, as your say.
