  There's a slightly more industrial version called "Nitty Gritty"; call 
your local cleaning supplies house for that. It's basically phosphoric 
acid [1], which may or may not eat plexiglass, but the stuff cleans hard 
water off bathtubs better than anything else I've ever seen.

[1] Heck, given there's phosphoric acid in Coke, you could try that as a 
cleaning agent..
