I still shoot film BECAUSE it's a hobby. When I was without the E-500 for a
weekend outing with the local camera club, I pulled out the OM-2S. It was fun
catching myself chimping the film holder.
I just bought a Canonet QL17 GIII recently and won the monthly club contest
with it:, 1st and 3rd place. Cameras are just fun to play with. I still shoot
my Rapid Omega 100 too. Do what you enjoy! I'll continue to shoot a mixture of
film and digital as long as I can. If you really feel as though you're done
with film, by all means sell your gear while you can get something for it. It's
a personal decision kinda like why I still love the OM bodies.
I still can't afford the good digital glass I'd like, to get the DOF effects
that I do with my film gear. But I'm a Luddite anyway. Long live film! But
thank God for digital!
