It is, regrettably, possible that your friend thinks any photo comes from 
Walgreens and costs 34 cents to print, and considers photos to be of 
marginal value, unlike the hideous landscapes the old woman in the nursing 
home down the street paints, for which she would pay hundreds.

Or, she might be a more evolved person that realizes that an enlarged photo 
is printed by someone thats price list doesn't include prices in cents, has 
value equal to that of "real" art, and understands that she should pay 
something for it.

If she falls into the second, I would consider how close you are. If your 
are good friends, and regualarly see each other outside of work, you may 
wish to offer it to her at any price from a modest profit to cost, all the 
way to free if the friendship includes benefits.

If she is a "work-only" friend, as your post seems to indicate, I would 
suggest the $50 figure.

If she falls into the first catagory, sell it to her as to any other 
customer. You could discount the gallery commission you won't pay, but 
perhaps not. If she is in the first catagory, it probably won't matter.
