I can't recommend a store in DC unfortunately though will be listening for
one if some does know of a good store as I am occasionally up that way. I
will note that B&H will not ship to customers via Hotels as per their
website shipping policy page. Maybe if you know someone who lives locally
they can accept the shipment on your behalf?

I am at medical conference here in Washington DC, and a friend at the conf,
asked if there were any camera stores (like B&H) where he could purchase an
expensive E series lens with confidence and at decent price. Since he will
be here a few days before returning to UK , I was going to suggest he just
get it sent to the hotel from B&H via Fedex, but maybe somebody here has a
recomendation locally?
