Well prepare to be displeased, Piers, the count showed 38 exposures, and I
must have made half of those myself trying out the camera. Strangely, the
neck-strap looked well-used!
However, I seriously miss the 'Live View' and Flip-out screen of the E20
which I've been using for the last 3 years, so I've bought myself an E-330
single lens kit at Digital Depot's umissable £299. The E-1 is going to be
sold, which explains my interest in usage and manuals. It came with a
14-54mm which I am in two minds about (selling or keeping) - the build
quality of that camera and lens is way ahead of the E-330 kit.
Thanks for the link to the PDF site, the manual has been downloaded and is
waiting to be cut to CD

Yes, it's in PDF John, on the Olympus website but it's also available in
printed form from www.lulu.com
Search for 154656 and you will find a link to a slightly reformatted pdf,
and the option to buy a printed softback version for not very much money.
I didn't like the idea of reading from the screen, nor printing out 180 odd
pages!
Congrats on the purchase - but you didn't say how low was your count - if
it's less than 78 I will be very displeased!

Well, the exposure count was satsfactorily low, excessively so, really. A
suspicious person would be suspicious.
Now I'm after a Reference Manual. The Olympus websites around the world seem
to have just a basic manual. Was a more advanced one produced? And available
in PDF?
