Both eSATA external drive cases I've bought, one with HD and another
empty, have come with the header/cables, so I have one in each machine.

I looked at this one and it has one flaw for my use. I want to be able
to access any and all of my external drives with all of my computers -
and the notebook doesn't have eSATA. so I wanted all external enclosures
to have another access mode as well. Both of mine have USB 2 HiSpeed in
addition to eSATA.

With six SATA headers on the mother board, I don't think I'm going to
miss the PCI card SATA connections. On any rare occasion when I need
direct connection to two of the external HDs at once, one can be USB or
firewire and the other eSATA.
