You are simply seeing the mechanical movement of the whole meter itself,
not an electrical movement. It's normal.
I believe there is an exposure setting and "reading" that show the
mechanical parts of the metering system are set correctly, but I don't
remember what they are. John H. will probably tell us, yet again. :-)
