Hmmm, Wayne, that got me going. The idea of ferries meeting in the
fog made me think of collisions ... :-)
In the UK, by the way, fog is defined as visibility of less than
1,000metres; more than that and it is mist or haze, depending on what
causes the attenuation in visibility. it must be different in the US.
