[OM] Quick Release plate for E410

I took a look through both Really Right Stuff and Kirk Photo web sites
looking for a quick release plate for an E410. I didn't find anything
specifically identified but noticed Kirk had a small plate that looked
promising. The PZ31 is a small nearly square bi-directional plate. I
ordered a couple and received them yesterday. It fits the camera just
about perfectly.

The OM body plates are too wide for the E410, overlapping the battery
compartment door. The PZ31 ends just short of the battery compartment
hinge. It is mounted in line with the lens. The plate could be
slightly longer without extending past the body but the advantage of a
bi-directional plate is greater than having it 1/4" longer to match
the body thickness.

The newer Really Right Stuff B6 plates appear to be fairly similar. I
have an older B6 plate which is not bi-directional. The surface of the
B6 which mounts against the camera is also slightly smaller than
Kirk's PZ31. The Kirk plate does not have the extra tripod screw hole
in it, which most RRS plates have. The extra hole can be useful. The
RRS plate is also $6 cheaper. Unless the slightly greater width of the
PZ31 is important, the RRS B6 is probably a better choice.

The height of the E410 body is too short to allow a long plate to be
directly mounted to the body and clear the fat lenses. A slider with a
clamp would have to be used to add extra height so that the camera
could be positioned at the lens nodal point for pano-photography.
