thanks, I knew about the biofos link, but not the second.

nifty.com has shown me two different Pen serial numbers #128573 & 
#352683 So it's rather hard to determine which version they're talking 
about.

After a Google search earlier, I found 
http://corsopolaris.net/supercameras/half/halformat4s.html and a few 
other misc pictures.

But have yet to find any definitive answer. And like you suspect that 
it's a crossover version, Either that or it's been repaired with 
replacement bits from an earlier model.
