You'll just have to figure out how to shoot it from inside the green 
plastic.  Pretend global warming has inundated the Maine coast putting 
the lighthouse well under water.  The green plastic could impart an 
underwater cache to the light.  You could sell it as future-art to 
eco-tourists.  You won't even have to wear your waders.
