It's just about impossible to get really accurate registration of 
multiple exposures with any OM but the OM-2000. Well, maybe some folks 
can do it some of the time, but not all folks all of the time.

All the other bodies rely on you to create and hold just the right 
tension in the film with the rewind crank without any movement at all 
while releasing the rewind button/lever and winding the shutter. The 
2000 has a different mechanism whereby the shutter may be wound 
separately from the film advance mechanism. So there is no potential 
movement of film to prevent by hand.
