So you used a different downsizing process? The color is more as you
say it should be, but I prefer the better sharpness in his face, detail
of texture in his uniform and detail in his beard in the first one.
As to images you have processed in Adobe RGB, you can save an Action to
convert and resave them. fortunately, Adobe has a larger gamut than
sRGB, so you can convert without a problem, whereas going the other way
is more problematic.
I convert RAW to Adobe RGB and work in it. My save to JPEG Actions
convert to sRGB on the way out.
