Good catch. Yes, after converting to sRGB in PhotoShop I used PhotoShop
to downsize the image but forgot to sharpen it. I normally use
BreezeBrowser to downsize and generate HTML and it applies a small
amount of sharpening. Work on these images so far has been limited to
exposure adjustments in ACR and some cropping and my right wrist is
already paying the penalty for that.

All of these were auto converted as you suggest. Now I've got to go
back and convert a bunch of other stuff. Probably everything I've shot
since installing CS3. At least it forced me to learn a bit about
actions and batch processing.
BTW, are you going to send your highlight/shadow warning?
