Anyway, it's a great improvment... and cheaper and faster than any other
means of payment inside Europe.

Jose's 2 cents are correct. A payment between two EU countries are not 
free, but must cost no more than the same payment would cost 
domestically. The conditions, according to my bank's web site (ABN Amro) 
are:

- currency must be EUR (so no SEK, DKK, GBP or the other 9 non-Euro 
currencies in the EU)
- the other conditions as Jose stated.
