I'd suggest that you toodle on down Route 9 and the Taconic Parkway for
a scenic path to New York. Along the way you can cut across the river
to visit Opus 40, buy some cigarette papers in Woodstock, take a picture
of Chuck's old house at 14 Forestwood Drive, cut back across the river
to see the Old Rheinbeck Aerodrome, head on down toward Hyde Park to see
the Vanderbilt and Roosevelt mansions and, while still in Hyde Park,
stop in at the CIA (Culinary Institute of America) for a fine lunch.

Durn. It's already time to go home. Never even made it to the Big
Apple. :-)
