"Should be" and "is" may be two quite different things in the 
implementation of a a complex standard... even if the manufacturer is 
trying to fully implement the standard vs. just claiming that it's 
implemented.  In any case I wasn't the one trying to attach to SCSI via 
USB and I was using the correct, manufacturer supplied, device driver 
with each card.  Either one works fine with the Scanwit 2700.
