Oops!  I forgot that dial direction thing.  That's actually worse than 
the dials swapping functionality since that happens all the time. 
Different paradigm I guess.  I think of increasing something as going 
clockwise or to the right so I think of increasing exposure as clockwise 
turning of the dials.  But the Canyon increases the numeric value of the 
aperture or shutter speed which is decreasing the exposure.  It's been 
more than a year and I still don't get it right.

Yes, the 2/3 sensor works just fine... as long as you don't get it off 
ISO 100.  ISO 400 is a disaster.  I'm not sure I can tell the difference 
between ISO 100 and ISO 400 on the Canyon.

Your proposed contrast adjustment on the top screen wouldn't be 
necessary if you could just punch a button and see the data on the top 
screen shown on the back screen.
