I have a Peleng 8/3.5 too, strange Peleng mount + Nikon adapter + 4/3
adapter.
I find it almost impossible to focus using the focussing screen in the
E-300.
The first Nikon - 4/3 adapter I used was too thin which meant the lens
couldn't be scale focussed without making an adjustment (focus at 0.4m when
the subject is 1m away), but I've since obtained another adapter which is
the correct thickness allowing scale focussing. While probably not the IQ
of a ZD 8mm it works well enough.
