Body only at B&H is now $2196.  I bought mine in May 2006 for $2920 - 
$300 Canon rebate for a net of $2620.  That was already down from the 
announcement list price of $3299 in August 2005.  So, I think it is 
holding its price pretty well since it has only dropped $424 (16%) in 18 
months.  $1690 is 77% of the new price which I think is pretty fair for 
used gear.
