Interestingly, we amicably exchanged emails a bit on this and he said even if I
picked up multiple
items he would not discount the fees anymore, unless I really bought bulk
quantities. I think
there is another advantage to the seller in bundling the profit into
shipping/handling fees, as
the business then pays a much smaller sales tax and maybe also shows zero
profit depending on how
they declare (or don't declare ) the shipping!
