I'll echo this. It makes you giggle when you alternate a few macros
with infinity shots -- especially if you own the ZD 50/2.
I'm thinking anyone who shoots action, from sports to wildlife to
wedding candids, will appreciate the extremely zippy autofocus.

Coming from the E-300, I don't find the difference in noise a problem.
In fact, I'd say the E-3 is quieter than the E-300.
