I noticed that someone in the battery industry thinking logically would 
make an AA sized cell of this type with just enough electrolyte to be 
sure they are at least 1.5 Volts, along with whatever internal circuitry 
is needed. Marketed with a fast charger, they could be put in countless 
Vivitar, etc. flash units with all those additional convenient benefits.

Most won't start soldering away custom batteries, nor would they even be 
able to if they wanted to, so its just not going to happen. Ready made 
ones in this size would be more what people would want rather than ONLY 
making these odd sized ones, or making 3.7 volts as the lowest end.

Even if someone had rechargeable smaller AAA sized cells in order to get 
a 1.5 Voltage, they make AA adapters you can slip your AAA cell into so 
it will fit all those flash guns ( along with countless other items that 
take AA, and would benefit from this.

That should have been of the first configurations they came up with for 
this battery type.
