Once at an Olympus repair clinic at a New England store, the Tech with
me (a chap from Japan) was setting up the Kyoritsu shutter tester (at
the time cost $4000). The sockets on the back of the unit used the same
screw-lock female connection for the OTF sensor AND the AC line cord.
So, he's under the table fidgiting with the wires, a glance tells me
he's got the ac cord plugged into the ttl socket. Just as I say
"Stop...." too late, the cord is in the wall, there's a pop and a puff
of smoke slowly comes out of the tester vents. NICE thoughtful design
on the sockets guys.
