Not true. Most of the new lenses have been full full frame format.

DX format lenses.

If you look, any lens with a G, AF-S, or VR in the nomenclature was  
designed since the D1 was introduced.

About 15 or 20, I believe.

People are posting their pictures with the 14-24/2.8 and 24-70/2.8  
which was announced with the D3.

The newer lenses are O-ringed at the lens mount. Nikon makes no claims  
of for their sealing on lenses or even their cameras if I am not  
mistaken. Others seem to make the case for them.

For example, a drizzly trip by Canon fan in which many Canons failed  
and none of the Nikons failed.
