Like manufacturers who solder the USB port to a critical board that must 
be reprogrammed with software they won't provide. USB port is known from 
breaking off the board an/or cracking. It then requires complete board 
replacement and reprogramming.

OM-4T circuit may still be available (still $250 or whatever) but when 
you send your 4T to Olympus (assuming they still service it) they don't 
charge you for the circuit (unless tampered, impact, sand, water damage).
