Three months is so much too long you have to suspect the damage came  
from a source other than shipping. I think eBay's recommended return  
policy is seven days, or whatever the seller specifies. Few if any  
legitimate entities will support a claim made three months late.

But, as Andrew has pointed out on numerous occasions, we live in a  
world where up is down and down is up. <g>
