The main event of last week, besides the trip to Maastricht that I
have documented elsewhere, was a visit by my childhood friend from
Copenhagen, Beata. This is the first time since I left Denmark almost
25 years ago that she has visited me. I wonder if the fact that I now
live in Spain has anything to do with it ;-)
In any event, we did some nice things on Friday and Saturday, and the
