Hmm,
Never seen one of those currants. Nice shot of an attractive plant. The 
increased dof of the smallish sensor may be a double edged sword  for 
macro with whole subject being nice and sharp though the background 
getting a tad busy. You are quite adept at remedying that, however.  I 
am even more anxious to awaken Big Foote (CV 125/2.5) from his winter 
slumber.

Flowering fruit trees and some magnolias started about three weeks ago.
Now in full swing. Daffodils are up.

Among all of them is our very own volunteer flowering currant, a native
species.
