Are you sure?  When I was in Romandie they had lots of David brands
around, like Apple and the such.

I remember Maitani saying they sold the Pen better in Europe than in
the US, due to Kodak not wanting to mess with single frame.  It would
be a pity to have lost the position.

Also, Europeans value compactness far more than people from the US.
