The R1800 appears to be gone from B&H stocks where it was on sale with 
rebate for $400 as little as a week or two ago.  I came close to buying 
one.  Maybe I should have.  Anyhow the replacement R1900 is available at 
$530.  Revised ink set claiming better skin colors.  Also has a "gloss 
optimizer" and two different blacks.  The 2400 is $730 at B&H and offers 
3 blacks for better B&W prints.
