If you watch the depth of field window during shut down, you will see a slight 
side to side rotation of the depth of field scale as the lens is 
reset/readjusted (?) ... whatever is taking place with the lens. 

It may be a difference in cameras or a personal sensitivity issue, but I have 
tried repeatedly and with my E-510 I cannot feel the camera "movement" that 
others profess to feel.
