I noticed a similar problem when I was shooting with my E-3 at an
airport, I aligned using the viewfinder against some straight edges, but
when I saw the picture on the screen it was skewed, I tried this a few
times and it was always the same. Then I swapped lenses and it was ok,
so I tried the other lens again and it was also ok - strange I thought.

So I managed to get time to set up the tripod and paper alignment chart,
result I aligned the camera with live view and it looks fine, when i
then look through the eyepiece it sometimes looks straight and sometimes
skewed (also to my wife) - I wear glasses and wondered if that is the
cause (though my wife doesn't), i.e I am not always looking directly
straight through the viewfinder and with the E-3 having a larger
viewfinder that it is now more of a problem

It seems more prominent at the wide end rather than the long end, and I
suspect it has something to do with the viewfinder rather than a tilted
sensor.

for those that have seen the problem, was it mainly at the wide end?
and for those who tested and found no problem did you only test at the
long end?
