Finally spent some quality time with my E510 today only
to find some problems, I noticed these problems previously
but simply thought that I must have reset something.
Whenever I change items in the menu's, many of them are
saved EXCEPT for the following :-
ISO reverts back to Auto
Noise reduction reverts back to On
Picture mode reverts back to Natural
Anti-Shock reverts back to Off
As soon as I turn the camera off they all revert, and ISO reverts
back to auto as soon as I take one photo, doesnt matter if its
in "auto" or "manual" modes.
Anyone else noticed this or am I unlucky enough to
end up with a dud E510, just as the E500 I purchased
last year ended up being a dud.
Or am I missing some simple step, for the first time in
many years I actually read and studied the manual
with no information on this wierdness.
Updated the firmware as well but in could only find
updates for the 2 lenses, nothing for the body.
