today the faculty of architecture of the Delft University, where I had a
little office in the department of restauration, was caught by a big fire.
The building by van de broek & bakema from 1970 was completely destroyed and
partly collapsed.Taking with it all non digital data: students works, a
fantastic library with 40.000 titles, a collection of furniture and
drawings by all the great ones, from Frank Lloyd Wright to le corbusier. A
dramatic day.
