I see no problem here. But I do take issue with your use of that word
"issue", if you really mean (as I suspect) "problems"!
And though many find the likes of MySpace, Flickr, Facebook etc just what
they need, I find the concept of combining them just overwhelming. Hope you
take my meaning. That this list survives as a text-only mailing list might
tell us all something - such as, it's the way it is because that's the way
it works.
But I'm sure AG will be along soon to slip into his shameful plugging mode

I wonder if a "NING" group would be a better solution for the OM list. A
NING group can be completely private, you can schedule events, display
photos/videos, have discussions, private message, etc.
