Actually I meant to write that I switched from a Linksys G router to a
Belkin (draft)N.
The aim was to increase the range - which it did, even with a G laptop.

(The throughput wasn't important since the internet access is only
10Mbps and the need for (really fast) intranet transfers from pc-to-pc
or pc-to-printer are rare)
