Ok, gang. Back to our corners now. We all can agree that it's getting
warmer, and some of that is caused by the hot air coming out of the windbags
of Rush Limbaugh and Al Gore.
I propose that we settle this argument by everybody accepting the following
assignment: Photograph with Zuiko Glass (film or digital matters not), the
natural world showing both the causes and effects of our changing climate in
YOUR location.
We at www.zone-10.com will host the images in a gallery. We will accept up
to 20 images from each participant. These will be grouped by location and
referenced by cause/effect. This is a scientific research project AND these
images will be made available for publication. Any image sales will net
you, the photographer 50% of the income from usage. (standard stock terms
and rules apply).
Furthermore, this will be an ongoing assignment. Each year we can do a
followup. Therefore, we will have a repository of images showing the
trending from one year to the next.
I have no axe to grind either way. But I see this as a perfect opportunity
for us, as a community, to use what we have to make a difference AND money.
