Regarding the specks in the 90mm Macro, I am going to
take a photo and post a link to it here sometime to
get this list's opinion. I agree, I am going to complain to the
seller, he mentioned a 'few specks of dust' which is, of course, of
no concern (I am not one of those people who worry about dust in a
lens), but this is really rather a *lot* of worryingly uniform
(in terms of coverage across the lens element) specks, visible
only in sharp, direct sun, which appears to make
the lens rather flare-prone (looking through the finder,
anyway, have not looked at film results yet) , because sunlight
shining into the lens is obviously seriously reflecting off
of them."

Not tojump on you, Dawid, but this is a problem to me. I think this is the
unfortunate offspring of ebay, as I don't remember specks of dust to be a
problem years ago. I had a 35-70 purchased on ebay and returned because when
the buyer shined a Tensor lamp into the front, he could see a single small
speck. Since there was no speck visible under any other way, I think it must
have been a reflection of something. I ferunded his money, and days later he
announced on this list that he just purchased a complete E1 outfit. I think
it may have been a speck of buyer's remorse.

Specks of stuff, especially black paint, have been a reality in new lenses
for decades, and we formerly were accepting of them. Not now.

Don't worry, shoot and be happy.
